Our toner cartridges exploded the other day. Accidents should always be this beautiful.
Really great.
Excellent!
gorgeous :-) I saw a magenta toner bucket (it was for a huge Sherpa-type printer) tip open all over the floor at a newspaper I worked for, and the floor carpet was such a beautiful shade after that!
What a happy accident, wonderful shot. :)
Dude, this is such an awesome shot! I’m an admin for a group called This is now and would love for you to join. Pretty please with a cherry on top?
Boinged. Also, that’s really beautiful.
Beautiful - reference to this was seen in Google Reader.
Absolutely Beautiful.
Wow, you’re lucky
Dont touch it or breath it. It looks beautiful but it will kill you.
oh that is super pretty
I love when cartridges explode
That’d make a great print (no pun intended).
the most beautiful photo ever since cartridges tend to explode!
pwetty.
It IS beautiful! And don’t worry folks, it WON’T kill you. I’m a service dispatcher for a copier company and send out the MSDS (material safety data sheet) info on these things all day long. Techs have told me that breathing it in will only make tissues tie-dyed when they blow their nose! Although they don’t recommend this as a recreational sport! Just don’t apply water or heat to it - then it’s permanently beautiful! lol.
very cool!
@StillAHulaGirl: Nice to know it won’t kill us — we still have the printer in question in our office (and it’s starting to play up again) so there may be accidental beauty to follow.
lo-ve-ly!
I was PRAYING you had a hires for my desktop background—and you didn’t disappoint.
Nice shot xD
PRECIOSO el efecto que se ha conseguido! Un saludo desde málaga!
Ditto to dan.pedersen’s comment. I believe my search for a new desktop background is over!

The CMYK-y goodness.
Thanks for the lovely comments everyone.
I’ve made this photograph
available to order as cards/prints/etc through RedBubble
so if you’re interested head over there and check out the pricing. I haven’t tried RedBubble before but I’ve ordered myself a canvas print of this photograph to check the quality — if it’s not up to snuff I’ll take it down. Anyone have any experience with RedBubble at all?indeed :)
aaah pretty <3
Yep, they should. Gorgeous shot.
Hello, I was wondering if I could use your photograph for a flyer I’m designing. It’s for a brand of remanufactured toner cartridges.

That is a gorgeous accident, and a beautiful shot. Great work, mate!
